Impact of the Growth Mindset

For this assignment, I decided to make a scrapbook inspired video using iMovie and a Keynote presentation. Originally I was going to do a plain me talking into a camera on a white wall video, but I wasn’t in the mood to see myself on screen plus I really got into looking for old pictures to go along with my story. In a way, it all worked out because looking through my classroom memories was motivating for me and framed my mindset.

I quite enjoyed the video and self-reflection process as I thought of how a growth mindset will impact my success in the DLL program. In addition to the video, I made a Keynote that can be used when need arises to give a more formal presentation for campus PD or a classroom lesson. 

Below are two slides from the keynote containing structured plans for teachers and leaders to follow as they shift campus mindsets from fixed to growth.
